Das Duo Terminale: SarsCoV2 und Vogelgrippe
« on: June 13, 2024, 03:23:00 AM »

Longer pasteurization times is not the answer for H5N1 infected milk. This needs to be blocked at the source using off the shelf IDEXX tests. Would I drink this? That's a hard no! That's not strawberry milk. That's blood in the milk.

Is the pasteurization process for cheese the same or worse? My whole diet is completely changing at this point.🤦‍♀️

For the record the above photo was made of raw milk. I'm not eating cheese made from raw milk at the moment. We really have no idea right now how & why we are seeing PCR+ milk for H5N1 in the pasteurized milk market.

Ultrapasteurization should work, no?

You don't want to drink milk with blood in it. This milk needs to get tested in bulk at the farm and tossed. Farmers need to be compensated until this gets under control. We already do this for low pathogenic influenza.

the first 4 samples on both sides here are 'bad'?

These are all infected. The infection is more severe in the red samples. But no one should be drinking any of this milk.

I can’t emphasize enough that milk from H5N1 infected cows is full of blood and puss. And it’s in the milk supply. It’s in the milk, the butter, the ice cream, and cheese. There is no amount of pasteurization that makes that safe to consume, as far as I’m concerned.

And! There’s a strong likelihood that H5N1 infected cows that are culled, their meat is ending up the beef supply as well.

Do with that info what you will.

LONDON — Unilever is planning to exit the ice cream business. The most likely scenario will be through a spin off into a standalone company, but management said other options will be considered. Separation of the business will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, according to the company.

With 2023 sales of €7.9 billion ($8.57 billion), Unilever’s ice cream business features such brands as Ben & Jerry’s, Magnum and Wall’s.

“Under new leadership, ice cream is already making significant operational changes at pace that are expected to drive stronger performance,” the company said. “These include improved productivity and efficiencies, product rationalization, and investment behind significant innovations.

“As a standalone, more focused business, ice cream’s management team will have operational and financial flexibility to grow its business, allocate capital and resources in support of the company’s distinct strategy, including further optimizing its manufacturing and logistics network, and developing wide-reaching, flexible, distribution channels over and above the changes that are currently underway in the business.”

The company also said it is initiating a three-year productivity program that is expected to generate cost savings of approximately €800 million ($868 million). The cost savings program will help offset negative operational synergies from the separation of the ice cream business, according to the company.
“Simplifying our portfolio and driving greater productivity will allow us to further unlock the potential of this business, supporting our ambition to position Unilever as a world-leading consumer goods company delivering strong, sustainable growth and enhanced profitability,” said Hans Schumacher, chief executive officer.
