Solarnative is for saleThe GreenTech company, founded in 2019 and based in Kriftel near Frankfurt a. M. (Germany) with currently around 130 employees around the founder and solar pioneer Henk Oldenkamp did not only develop, patent and commercialize the smallest inverter in the world in recent years, but it also created the necessary production and sales structures. Now a strong investor or buyer is being sought to ensure the continued existence of the unique technology. Interested investors are welcome to initiate discussions with CEO Dr. Julian Mattheis at the Solarnative booth B4.370 at the “Intersolar” industry trade fair that started today in Munich (June 19th to 21st).
Solarnative for sale
“We’ve reached a point where we have to rely on a new major investor or buyer to actually bring the world’s smallest PV inverter into the rooftop market,” sums up Dr. Julian Mattheis, Managing Director of Solarnative GmbH.
High-tech patents, functioning factory, US suitability: “Everything is set – Solarnative is presented on a silver plate.”
At Hofheim near Frankfurt, next to a warehouse with several thousand pre-produced inverters, there is a ready-to-go and running factory with 80 skilled employees and a production capacity of 50,000 micro-inverters per month. Mattheis: “The feedback from the market is overwhelming – from wholesalers to small installation companies there is great enthusiasm for the advantages of our technology, and we expect well-filled order books as soon as we can give the starting signal for our rooftop system. Everything is actually in place for a ramp-up and global roll-out. To secure the urgently needed liquidity for the market ramp-up, we are now trying to very quickly find a buyer for our company and our technology, which, by the way, is also prepared for the US market. We have now decided to go on the offensive and make our challenging situation public at the start of the world’s leading industry trade fair “Intersolar”. Ultimately, all potential interested parties or investors are more or less directly on site here. We are already in dialogue with some of them, but I think it makes sense to expand the circle a little more.”
The entire Solarnative team is looking forward to an exciting “Intersolar”, where Dr. Julian Mattheis is available for personal discussions at booth B4.370. Ideally, the investor/buyer should be found by the end of the week.
