BOOM! And 20 percent are dead...

Let's look at the death rate among the Russian monkeys in Ukraine.

OCT       DAYS
17: 320   1
18: 530   2
19: 430   3
20: 370   4
21: 100   5
22: 320   6
23: 400   7
24: 470  10
25: 480  11
26: 480  12
27: 320  13
28: 480  14
29: 550  15
30: 950  16
31: 620  17
NOV
 1: 650  18
 2: 800  19
 3: 730  20
 4: 840  21
-------------
Sum: 9840 DEAD

9840 DEAD. How nice. The conscripts, who, according to Russian sources, already appeared in Ukraine, bite the dust faster then they were delivered.

49000 conscripts appeared. But 9840 are already gone. The higher ranks call it cannon fodder...

TotalEnergies bestreitet diesen Vorwurf.

Bis zum 4.11. (siehe oben):   Sum: 9840 DEAD

            DEAD   DAYS
5.11.    600       22
6.11.    490       23
7.11.    530       24
8.11.    710       25
9.11.    780       26
10.11.  740       27
---------------
Sum:  3850

Sum:  9840 DEAD
Sum:  3850 DEAD
----------------------------------
Sum:  13690 in 27 days

If you are expecting me now to explain what I think about this
I am not going to tell you anything.
But I'll explain why.
If I support the decision
and say that the Defence Minister is acting correctly
by leaving Kherson,
then I am publicly calling for Russia's territorial integrity to be violated.
In our Criminal Code that is Article 280 Part 1.
I specially checked this morning.
Several years in prison.
And if I don't support the decision
and think that the Defence Minister has done the wrong thing
by leaving Kherson,
then I'm publicly discrediting the Armed Forces,
which also is Article 280, but Part 3,
with approximately the same jail term.
I don't want to go to prison.
So now we will watch a report and then I'll hand over to our dear experts.

Ukraine's Armed Forces entered the city of Kherson on Nov. 11, according to the Defense Ministry's Intelligence Directorate.

"Kherson returns to Ukraine, as the Armed Forces enter the city," its statement. "The retreat routes are under the fire control of the Ukrainian army. Every Russian soldier who resists will be destroyed."

For those Russian soldiers who were left behind, "the only chance to avoid death is to immediately surrender," writes the Defense Ministry's Intelligence Directorate.

At about 12 p.m., Russia's Defense Ministry announced the complete withdrawal of Russian forces from the west bank of the Dnipro River, including from Kherson.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu ordered the withdrawal of troops from Kherson on Nov. 9. After Shoigu's order, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, said Ukraine continued the offensive operation in the region in accordance with its initial plan — without any rush.

Zaluzhnyi added that, from Oct. 1 to Nov. 9, Ukraine had recaptured 1,381 square kilometers and liberated over 41 settlements.

About a month ago, on Sept. 30, dictator Vladimir Putin said Russia was annexing Ukraine's Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk oblasts. This happened after Russia's proxies held sham referendums in the occupied parts of these regions.

Back in September, Putin said Russia would "defend" the territories of the four oblasts it laid claim to against the Ukrainian forces "with all means available."

One of Russia’s key figures dubbed “Putin’s Brain” has called for President Vladimir Putin to be toppled and hinted he should even be killed after Moscow’s humiliating defeat in Kherson.

Ultra-right-wing nationalist Alexander Dugin has become the first major Russian to break silence over growing disgust at Putin’s failed Ukraine invasion.

But worryingly, the 60-year-old fascist strategist is thought to be part of a growing body of Moscow elite calling for Putin to escalate in Ukraine and sees Kherson as a massive blow to Russian pride.

An old article, of JUNE 2022, FIVE MONTHS AGO:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/putin-cant-keep-russian-mothers-silent-forever/2022/06/06/072805dc-e557-11ec-a422-11bbb91db30b_story.html

[*quote*]
Putin Can’t Keep Russian Mothers Silent Forever
Analysis by Clara Ferreira Marques | Bloomberg
June 6, 2022 at 7:48 a.m. EDT

Vladimir Putin’s propaganda machine has built up the image of a powerful nation with an indomitable leader and a disciplined army, encircled by enemies and fighting for the future of the motherland. Never mind that it was Russia that invaded Ukraine, that there has been plentiful evidence of Russian soldiers looting and raping, or that what was supposed to be a bloodless blitzkrieg has turned into a costly war of attrition. Roadside billboards with portraits of fallen soldiers carry the tagline “hero of victory,” though there’s no actual triumph. A popular slogan roughly translates as “we leave none of our people behind,” though the armed forces routinely do just that, abandoning bodies in the mud or in makeshift Ukrainian morgues.

The Kremlin sustains its official narrative with a tight grip. But as the war drags on, campaign aims shifting, there’s one inconvenient truth that even President Vladimir Putin will increasingly struggle to muffle: the men who fail to come home. No constituency is as hard for him to dismiss as the mothers, wives and daughters of soldiers, especially if tempers rise along with widespread economic hardship. Their anger and grief has helped to galvanize public opinion in the past, tarnishing the image of the military and the state. It can do so again.

Russia’s losses in Ukraine have already been staggering, even if the pace has slowed since the disastrous early days. It’s hard to be precise because official Defense Ministry figures have not been released since March 25, and even then inevitably undercounted, with 1,351 Russian service members reported to have been killed. Ukraine calculates around 30,000 Russian deaths, an overestimate. But even half that, as Britain’s defense secretary reckoned in April, would not be far off the number the Soviet Union officially lost in its decade-long conflict in Afghanistan. And the number is rising.

We’ve seen the power of mothers before. During the 1980s bodies were returned from Afghanistan in sealed zinc coffins and headstones carved only with “killed fulfilling his internationalist duty.” Aided by the freedoms of glasnost, angry mothers began to demand information on deaths and injuries. They campaigned actively against dedovshchina, the brutal hazing of young conscripts, and forced the Soviet military to provide answers for the first time.

The Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers remained front and center during the first Chechen war, when they marched to the capital Grozny, negotiated to bring their sons home and gathered evidence on the killed and wounded. Mothers’ fury put Putin on the spot over his desultory response to the sinking of the nuclear submarine Kursk in 2000, with 118 on board. “They earn $50 a month and now they’re stuck in that tin can! What did I raise him for? Do you have children?” one pained mother shouted at Kremlin officials. She was silenced — television footage showed her being injected with a substance and collapsing, though she later denied being tranquilized — but public anger was harder to soothe.

It will play out differently in 2022.

The ability to press the military for transparency in the late 1980s, mothers’ influence during the Chechen war in the 1990s, and even the outbursts over Kursk, were possible in a context of relative media and political freedom, thanks to perestroika’s reforms and the chaos that followed. It’s no accident the mothers had far less success during the second Chechen campaign, as Putin’s time in office got underway. Today, there’s wall-to-wall propaganda glorifying the fallen, control of the media and little tolerance for protest of any kind.

As Gulnaz Sharafutdinova of King’s College London pointed out to me, there’s also the fact that unlike in either Afghanistan or the first war in Chechnya, when society was more equal and families of all kinds were affected, those involved in this conflict are by and large not conscripts but contracted soldiers, young men seeking a way out of poverty, coming from ethnic minorities and distant regions — with little political clout.

It’s telling that a list of nearly 1,100 fatalities analyzed by the BBC Russian Service in early April did not include a single man from Moscow, a city of roughly 13 million. There were only five from the wider Moscow region and one from St Petersburg. Buryatia, a republic with fewer than a million people, had 52 fallen servicemen. Dagestan, in the Caucasus and with some three million inhabitants, had 93.

And there’s the simple reality that a death is easier for families to handle if it is heroic, making them more likely to accept the official line, even when it flies in the face of their experience. When Nobel Prize-winner Svetlana Alexievich wrote her polyphonic book on the soldiers of the Soviet war in Afghanistan and their families — “Boys in Zinc”, after their coffins — she was threatened, and eventually sued by several of her subjects for libel and defamation. “Mothers of sons who had died in Afghanistan came to the trial with portraits of their children, with their medals and insignia,” she later wrote. “And, to me, the mothers said, ‘We do not need your truth, we have our own truth.’”

But with every casualty, the fiction is harder to sustain, and the questions more pressing. It’s a risk that grows with every sunk cruiser or badly hit parachute regiment. Especially when the war’s goals remain murky.

Ukraine has spotted the opportunity. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has appealed directly to Russian mothers. The government in Kyiv set up a hotline and runs a Telegram channel and website with pictures of those captured, for families searching for loved ones — to spread the word.

It’s a danger Putin recognizes and has struggled with since his plans for a three-day war went wrong in late February. He has repeatedly said there are no conscripts on the front in Ukraine — the use of conscripts in battle remains a highly sensitive issue — and has resisted mass mobilization. But his Defense Ministry has had to acknowledge that some conscripts have been deployed, and some captured. And facing heavy losses of troops and equipment, Putin has just removed the upper age limit for contract soldiers. As the fight drags on, he will have to pull in reserves, or more of those doing their compulsory military service. (Though most likely not women, who make up a tiny portion of the armed forces and are not generally permitted in frontline roles.)

As Ben Noble, who studies Russian domestic politics at University College London, points out, casualties, like economic hardship, will test the limits of the regime’s propaganda and repression because both are directly experienced by ordinary Russians, whatever television talk shows say. And there will be a tipping point for both.

Three factors make matters worse for Putin. One is that even by the standards of autocrats, he struggles with empathy that might help navigate a public crisis. He only found time to visit injured servicemen three months after the invasion of Ukraine, and the Kremlin’s idea of presidential compassion was footage of wooden handshakes distributed in a spotless Moscow hospital where no one actually appeared to be particularly ill. As Noble put it to me, it’s a personalist regime without a human face.

Then, there’s the fact that unlike around the annexation of Crimea in 2014, the patriotic surge in Russian opinion shown in surveys after the fighting began also shows significant anxiety. Asked in March what they felt about the war, most did first mention pride in Russia — but then it was fear, anxiety and horror. For younger respondents, fear, anxiety and horror came first. There are already disgruntled relatives speaking up and attacks on draft offices.

Finally, there’s Putin’s emphasis on women as mothers, as he grapples with Russia’s dismal demographics and leans on traditionalist views to rein in society. He has, for example, sought to restore the Soviet title of “Heroine Mother” for women with large families. It’s hard to glorify, then silence.

Moms and wives can’t topple Putin or end the fight, just as their distress didn’t force troops out of Afghanistan or end the Soviet Union. But their grief and growing numbers of casualties — which state media cannot airbrush away with laudatory coverage alone — tarnishes the military and the state with unpredictable consequences.

“We got so used to living on two levels, one according to what we read in books and the press, and the other — totally different — according to our own experience,” one woman told Alexievich, after extracts from her book were published.

“Everything you wrote was true, except that reality was even more terrible.”

The war is within Russia now. And it is NOT Ukranians fighting it, it is Russian wives, fighting for the lives of their husbands and sons.

This is revolution.

Wait for the day they will march through the streets in Moscow, carrying Putin's head on a pole...

Wives of Russian soldiers traveled to a military base at the Ukrainian border, The Insider reported.
They said their husbands were wounded on the front and demanded they be taken out of the country.
One woman said if officials don't help, she would go to the front to rescue the soldiers herself.

The wives of Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine showed up at the border and demanded to take their husbands home, the independent Russian news outlet The Insider reported.

A group of around 20 relatives traveled to a military base in the Russian town of Valuiki on Wednesday night, the outlet reported. Valuiki is around 30 miles (50km) from Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine.

The group, which mostly consisted of women, called for their husbands to be taken out of Ukraine, claiming they had been wounded fighting on the frontline, The Insider said. (The Insider is a Russian news outlet and has no affiliation with Insider.)

"I'm ready to tear them apart," one of the women told officials at the military base, per The Insider. "They have to do something, they have to make a decision, they have to get them out of there."

"We want them to be taken away from there because there are many wounded," she added.

Another relative said that if officials were unable to help them, she will go to the front herself to rescue the soldiers, The Insider reported, citing a separate report published on the Telegram channel of the independent Russian news outlet Verstka.

It is unclear whether the women received the answers they were looking for. Verstka reported that officials were helping the women track down their husbands.

Insider was unable to independently verify these reports.

The report comes after Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu called on his troops to withdraw from Kherson, the first major city and the only regional capital in Ukraine captured by Russia since the beginning of its invasion in February.

That announcement marked one of the most significant setbacks for Russia so far in its war in Ukraine.

Top US general Mark Milley estimated Wednesday that more than 100,000 Russian soldiers were "killed and wounded" since Russia invaded Ukraine, Reuters reported.

It's unclear where he received the figures. Reuters and Insider did not independently verify the numbers.

Meanwhile in Russia: a lawmaker argues that the strikes against Ukraine's critical infrastructure are meant to express Russia's "holy hatred" towards Ukrainians and prompt them to overthrow Zelensky. Others pontificate that freezing Ukrainian civilians will prompt a capitulation.

[Nazi pig Roman Babayan, host]
We're conducting strikes against Ukraine
Take a look, it's impressive!
You see what's happening, right?
All of Ukraine's territory is under strikes
What's new is that we're hitting not only
electrical substations, thermal power stations, etc.
We also started to strike the gas infrastructure
This is obviously a line
It's clear where it might lead Ukraine

[Nazi pig Boris Chernychov, State Duma member]
Those retaliatory strikes - and they are retaliatory
It's an expression of our hatred, our holy hatred
They'll be sitting withoug gas, without light
and without everything else
If the Kyiv regime chose the path of war criminals
they have to freeze and rot over there

[ ]
Regular people have to freeze and rot?

[Nazi pig Boris Chernychov, State Duma member]
Regular people have to take to the streets
and put an end to Zelensky's nazi regime

[Nazi pig Vladimir Oleynik, former Ukrainian politician]
We've witnessed this state in cioncentrations camps
when they are going into gas ovens,
there is no uprising, when it seems there should be
They are basically oppressed
This is a victim syndrome

[Nazi pig Roman Babayan, host]
Where are the revolts? We don't see any revolts
More than that they say that [popularity] rankings
of this guy in a T-shirt is quite high,
if you trust Kyiv polls

[Nazi  pig Vladimir Oleynik, former Ukrainian politician]
Don't trust social science in times of war, I beg you
We should be saying who is at fault for all of this
and not just write it all off on Russia
Today, Russia is forced to take measures
One week on, one week off demonstrates on thing
there are some attemps of negotiation
The west already started to talk much softer

[Nazi pig Roman Babayan, host]
So you are inclined to think that our strikes
serve as an inducement to peace?

[Nazi pig Vladimir Oleynik, former Ukrainian politician]
Yes, to negotiations
There could be different outcomes from negotiations

[Nazi pig Roman Babayan, host]
Why didn't we strike Kherson
when Zelensky went there, roaming all over the place?

[Nazi pig Vladimir Oleynik, former Ukrainian politician]
There are general rules, we should address this
to top leadership, the president is the president
That's to whom it should be addressed

[Nazi pig Roman Babayan, host]
Maybe strikes at that moment
would have had the effect you are talking about

[Nazi pig Vladimir Oleynik, former Ukrainian politician]
Clearly, a sergeant doesn't make these decisions
What we are saying, if this decision was formalized
you should not declare countries as "terrorist"
but instead, organizations and people
Zelensky fits all the criteria of a terrorist
You remember him being compared
to Al-Qaeda, Bin Laden - his fate is the same
People have to rise up, people are afraid
Who will go? Where are those pro-Russian politicians?

[Nazi pig Sergey Strokan, political commentator]
You know their names, right?
They're in hiding, somewhere
Not all of them are in jail,
they need to find some civic courage
Let them take to the streets - who else?
Will grandmas go to the streets, facing machine guns?
This conversation is about nothing
that people will rise up and take down this clique

[ ]
What do they want to offer us?
Basing it on [Mark] Milley, they want to freeze things

[ ]
To freeze it in what condition?

[Nazi pig Alexey Fenenko, professor]
We didn't liberate all of the Donetsk region
We control only half of the Zhaporizhzhia region
and half of the Kherson region
After that, they'll start to scream:
"Oh, Russia is weak and humiliated,
it can't even liberate 3 regions, ha-ha-ha!"
It's nasty trolling, a mockery

[Nazi pig Roman Babayan, host]
In reality, their stakes are simple, even elementary:
They want to blow up the situation here, internally
They think that time is on their side
Retreats of our troops, slow advancement,
all of this is supposed to help them
in order to win the psychological war

[Nazi pig Vladimir Sergiynko, political scientist]
When objects of the infrastructure
get their pumpkins pummeled everyday,
when civilian population has minimal casualties,
but their living conditions in winter are unbearable,
ambulances aren't functioning,
the old people are dying, as well as the children,
Europe is ready to accept them,
it's organizing heated gyms,
but for Zelensky, this will be an argument
He will call [Olaf] Scholz and say,
"Scholz, do you remember saying you won't recognize
the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia?
Look, my population is running,
we can't make it through the winter,
let's discuss the conditions under which
we're ready to sign a de-facto capitulation"
The word "capitulation" should be said,
we shouldn't be to shy to say it,
It will be based on unbearable conditions for civilians

[Nazi pig Roman Babayan, host]
With respect to our strikes, our strikes should continue
I don't know wheather they should happen everyday,
but we should be striking on the infrastructure
The list of infrastructure objects should be expanded
One way or another, this contributes to our victory
For us victory is absolutely necessary
Any negotiatons, if they suddenly start
with the Ukranian side,
these negotiations won't end well for us
On the other side, there is not a single person
that could be trusted by the Russian government
and the Russian people
Destruction of our nation
is the sole reason for their existence
They openly talk about it
We can overcome this situation only through strength

There is one sentence which covers it all: Putin reduces the cost of the Russian prisons by emptying them.

The prisoners are used as cannon fodder. And the prisons are emptied. A neat way to reduce the financial burden.

The brutal execution of a Russian war defector conscripted to Putin’s private army was a warning to others thinking of surrendering, western officials said on Tuesday.

Footage of former prisoner Yevgeny Nuzhin being hit with a sledgehammer was posted on a telegram account linked to the Wagner Group this week.

The horrifying video was aimed at soldiers who have been conscripted from prisons and elsewhere to fight in Ukraine as Russia continues to lose ground, officials believe.

They added they have “no reason to doubt” its authenticity and it is a “brutalisation” of the messaging around the war.

Nuzhin had been serving a 24-year prison sentence for murder when he was freed in July and conscripted into Wagner, a notorious military group run by a Russian businessman and a close Putin ally.
