Es wird immer schlimmer. "1984" ist real geworden. Elon Musk zeigt sein wahres Gesicht, das eines skrupellosen Lügners.https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1855650994509738338[*quote*]

January 6th was Nowhere Near a Violent InsurrectionAbout an hour into the Town Hall, Elon Musk responded to a man who expressed anger at Trump over January 6th.
Elon was thoughtful with his response, even mentioning his concern over the media taking a sound bite of something he says and spinning it to fit their narrative.
Likewise, this is exactly what the media has done to Trump.
Elon's outlook:
"If you've heard something bad about Trump, listen to his whole speech. That's actually very important. On January 6th, his statements on that day, he told people to back down.
"He said, 'Do not do violence,' but some people said that's actually some sort of dog whistle about doing violence, so I'm like, what are you supposed to say?
"You know he did actually tell people to not be violent. He recommended that the National Guard be deployed and Nancy Pelosi said No. He did not call for any violence."
Elon continued (after a few shouts in the audience), saying,
"Obviously, the level of disruption was high and I don't applaud any kind of damage to public property or course, but the media tries to characterize January 6th as some sort of violent insurrection, which is simply not the case. That is false."
(the Pennsylvania crowd cheers)
Elon explains he takes the middle ground on January 6th.

There's got to be a lot of guns for it to be a violent insurrection. And there were a lot of strange things.
"There were a lot of irregularities that are hard to explain... there were things that were statistically unlikely, let me put it that way.
"So, it's not as if the January 6th protests had no merit, they had some merit. I disagree with the magnitude of what they did, but it's not as if there were no issues.
"There were issues, and we have this weird situation in America where it's almost impossible to prove fraud.
Image
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Gb_5hV8WIAA6_YQ?format=jpg&name=smallElon: "Because if you've got no voter ID, and mail-in ballots, how do you prove fraud? And... it does seem more than a little odd that we don't have voter ID and New York and states like California which are supermajority Democrats.
"They passed a law banning voter ID in any election whatsoever. Now, how is that supporting democracy? That's not supporting democracy. That's insane.
"Almost every country on earth has voter ID requirements, but we don't. Why? And why do the same people who demanded vaccine IDs for you to do anything, are the same ones who say 'No ID for voting!'
"Something doesn't add up. It doesn't add up. So, I actually think... my opinion is... that those who think Trump is a threat to Democracy, are they themselves the threat to democracy."

Many people held on false charges in jail were set free, and hundreds of charges were dropped. In a 5-4 decision, the court decided the DOJ abused its power and overused “obstruction” charges on peaceful protestors of J6.
