The man was freed from the suspicions of having abused his wife.
According to Solna District Court, the man came from a "good family" and the woman could not trust.
Now the Center Party calls on the panelist Ebtisam Aldebe - who has openly advocated sharia days - to leave his mission.
The man's police suspects suspected of abusing his wife in Sundbyberg municipality outside of Stockholm in spring 2015. He must have hit her in the face, pulled her in her hair and pressed a shoe in her face, The Local writes first reported on the case.
According to the prosecutor, the man, among other things, had pushed the woman into a chair and dragged her to the bedroom.

Tingsrätten: Misshandlad kvinna borde inte ha vänt sig till polisen

Mannen friades från misstankarna om att ha misshandlat sin fru.
Enligt Solna tingsrätt kom mannen från en ”bra familj” och kvinnan gick inte att lita på.
Nu uppmanar Centerpartiet nämndemannen Ebtisam Aldebe – som öppet förespråkat sharialagar – att lämna sitt uppdrag.
Mannen polisanmäldes misstänkt för att ha misshandlat sin fru i Sundbybergs kommun utanför Stockholm våren 2015. Han ska ha bland annat ha slagit henne i ansiktet, dragit henne i håret och tryckt en sko i hennes ansikte, skriver The Local som först rapporterade om fallet.
Enligt åklagaren hade mannen bland annat knuffat in kvinnan i en stol och dragit henne till sovrummet.
I februari i år kom domen i Solna tingsrätt: Mannen friades.
Rätten: Kvinnan borde ha sökt sig till makens familj
Tingsrätten menar att kvinnan inte gick att lita på – och att mannens familj ”verkar vara en bra familj, till skillnad från hennes, vilket också har betydelse för bedömningen av skuldfrågan”.
Solna tingsrätt menar också att kvinnan borde ha gråtit när hon lämnade sin berättelse.
"NN har lämnat en berättelse utan att visa några känslor, vilket inte framstår som självupplevt", står i den friande domen.
Och: Tingsrätten anser att kvinnan borde ha vänt sig till makens familj, inte polisen, eftersom paret gifts enligt sharialag. Av rättsdokument framgår att mannen är irakisk medborgare.
Inblandad har förespråkat att svenska lagar ska anpassas till muslimer
Två nämndemän ansåg att mannen skulle frias, medan en nämndeman och rådmannen ville se en fällande dom. I sådana lägen döms det mildaste straffet ut, alltså friades mannen.
Nu har domen överklagats till hovrätten.
En av de som ville fria – centerpartisten Ebtisam Aldebe – har kandiderat till riksdagen och sagt att hon tycker att svenska lagar borde anpassas till muslimer som bor i Sverige. Hon har också förespråkat sharialagar i Sverige.
– Inga kommentarer. Vi får vänta på hovrättens dom, säger Ebtisam Aldebe, som nu sitter i socialnämnden i Solna stad.

Centerpartiets svar: Helt oacceptabelt
Till Aftonbladet säger hon:
– I det här målet har jag följt lagen. Svensk lag. Jag har aldrig dömt enligt någon annan lag.
Nu markerar Centerpartiet i Solna mot nämndemannen. Partiet har inte längre förtroende för henne – och uppmanar henne att lämna sitt uppdrag.
"Den typen av sexistiska resonemang som hon står bakom är helt oacceptabla", skriver C på Twitter.

Magnus Persson, gruppledare för Centerpartiet i Solna, säger att domskälen är bakgrunden till att man nu uppmanar Ebtisam Aldebe att lämna.
– De här domskälen förväntade jag mig inte att läsa.
Har ni fått några signaler om att hon har dessa åsikter tidigare?
– Vi har blivit kontaktade av personer, men inte med de här uppgifterna i domen.
I ett uttalande på C:s hemsida skriver Magnus Persson:
"De resonemang som förekommer i domskälen är väldigt problematiska och något som vi ser väldigt allvarligt på".
Han fortsätter:
"Den typ av sexistiska resonemang som förekommer i domskälen är helt oacceptabla. Sådana svepande och fördomsfulla anklagelser mot kvinnor, i vilket sammanhang de än förekommer, går helt på tvärs mot Centerpartiets värderingar. Om man står bakom det domskäl som givits i domen, kan man inte vara nämndeman utsedd av Centerpartiet".

Nämndemannen och lagmannen: Kvinnan är trovärdig
Nämndemannen som ville fälla, och rådmannen, menar att kvinnans berättelse varit ”detaljerad, sammanhängande och utan motsägelser”.
”Det har inte framkommit något rimligt motiv till att hon skulle hitta på hela historien”, står det i domen.
– Det är inte så vanligt att två nämndemän överröstar domaren som i det här fallet. Men vi har ett sådant system, säger rådmannen Lena Klintefall som ville se mannen fälld.

– Det framgår att vi resonerade helt olika, och tyckte olika. Och nu har det överklagats. Vi får se vad hovrätten kommer fram till.
