Drei Jahre Esowatch – eine Bilanz

Liebe Leser!

Am 1. Juni 2007 ist das Esowatch-Wiki an den Start gegangen. Zeit für eine, leicht verspätete, Bilanz:
Das Wiki hat inzwischen 1605 Seiten mit Inhalt, bei 94 Benutzern, davon 12 aktiven. Das Wiki allein kommt auf 500.000 Pageviews im Monat, Tendenz weiterhin steigend.
Der Blog hat täglich zwischen 1.500 und 2.000 Besucher, Tendenz weiterhin steigend
Unser Alexa-Pagerank liegt zZ. bei rund 70.000. Laut Alexa sind unsere Besucher überdurchschnittlich gebildet. Ferner haben wir eine lange Liste an Suchbegriffen, bei denen wir einen wichtigen Einfluss haben. Zum Vergleich: Scienceblogs.de schwankt zwischen 40.000 und 60.000- und die haben sogar einen Redakteur und mit Astrodicticum Simplex den erfolgreichsten deutschen Wissenschaftsblog.

Nachdem es immer schwierig ist, die galaktische Föderation, Kryon und die Bilderberger unter einen terminlichen Hut zu bringen, hat es etwas gedauert. Anlässlich eines großen Pharmakongresses hat es dann doch noch geklappt, eine Entscheidung zu treffen. Gesiegt hat dieser Entwurf:



Begründung der Jury: Der Doppelentwurf, in Gut und Böse eingeteilt, zeigt ideal das Schwarz-Weiß-Denken von EsoWatch, das starrende Eulenauge den kalten Inhumanismus des wissenschaftlichen Prinzips in perfekter Weise. Zudem erlaubt er auch den intellektuellen Zugang (rot und grün) der von EsoWatch Geschmähten  zur Symbolik noch unterhalb der Sprachgrenze.

Die Überreichung des Preises in Form eines hübschen Darwin-T-Shirts wird noch geklärt werden, je nach Wunsch des Gewinners wird das auf der Rückseite des Mondes, in einer Reichsflugscheibe oder per DPD geschehen.
