OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Sixty-two workers at Silver Star in Oshkosh are losing their jobs.
Silver Star Inc., formerly Miles Kimball, notified the state Department of Workforce Development it's outsourcing some of the work at 250 City Center.
Their last day of work is June 24.
The jobs affected include 29 sales consultants, 18 customer experience specialists, call center team leaders and schedulers, manager of training quality, and workforce support manager.
Miles Kimball moved its administrative offices to the City Center in Oshkosh in 2005, and centralized its call centers to Oshkosh in 2007, according to the company's website. It became Silver Star Brands in 2013.
The company also manages other direct-to-consumer brands, including Walter Drake and Easy Comforts.The company also has a distribution center in Oshkosh on S. Oakwood Rd.
