No more marketing of “light” cigarettes
Starting Tuesday, tobacco companies are no longer allowed to market their cigarettes as “light,” “mild,” “low” or with “similar descriptors,” according to the tobacco law signed by President Obama. The law is in reaction to findings that “light” cigarettes imply safer smoking, which is inaccurate.
